On October 12, in Nur-Sultan, on the sidelines of the 6th meeting of the CICA (Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures) Ministers of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Ruslan Kazakbayev met with the Special Representative of the President of Kazakhstan for International Cooperation Yerzhan Kazykhanov.
According to the press service of the Kyrgyz Embassy in Kazakhstan, during the conversation, the parties discussed topical issues of Kyrgyz-Kazakh interaction, synchronized watches on upcoming bilateral foreign policy events, as well as within the framework of multilateral platforms, exchanged views on international and regional agendas.
The parties noted the need for the earliest practical implementation of the agreements reached following the state visit of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov to Kazakhstan, the 9th meeting of the bilateral Intergovernmental Council held this year, expressed their readiness for further interaction in order to expand and deepen bilateral relations between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan in the spirit of alliances and strategic partnerships.
