A draft National Development Program of the Kyrgyz Republic until 2026 is being discussed in Bishkek.
The event is aimed at discussing the provisions of the Program with the scientific and academic community.
This meeting is the next in a cycle of discussions on the draft National Program until 2026. Last week, similar meetings were held with the invitation of business, civil society, development partners and international organizations.
The draft National Program until 2026 provides for anti-crisis measures aimed at preventing the spread of new strains of COVID-19, mass vaccination of the population, restoration of economic activity, and updating of anti-crisis management processes.
The document preserves the sequence of development ideas reflected in the National Development Strategy of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2018–2040 – by 2040 Kyrgyzstan will emerge as a strong, self-sufficient, developed state, in the center of which is a person as the highest value, his life, health, rights and freedoms, the creation of the most favorable environment for him.
First Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic Daniyar Imanaliev emphasized the relevance of the development of this document, which consists in forming a new vision for further development, taking into account the changes that have occurred in the country, region and the world.
The main tasks of the Program until 2026 are the formation of an environment for development, where special attention is paid to the implementation of reforms of the judicial system, the practical implementation of public-private entrepreneurship mechanisms, fiscal support measures, reduction of administrative barriers, reorganization of the management of FEZ, reduction of the number of contacts between business and government agencies, the use of business support measures, etc.
For each priority area of development, a block of projects is proposed, focused on the implementation of medium-term goals and objectives.
A similar meeting will take place on October 7 in Osh, where discussions with the scientific community will also take place.
