According to a short-term forecast, by Kyrgyzstan’s daily number of registered coronavirus cases may reach 57 cases under an optimistic scenario by Oct. 22, head of the Public Health Department of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the republic Ainura Akmatova told during a briefing on Monday.
She added that in the worst-case scenario it could be up to 100 cases.
Akmatova emphasized that even with relatively low effectiveness against infection, vaccination can reduce the number of new cases.
