BAKU: The border pillars in Tavush are a guarantee of Armenia’s security, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a press conference, Trend reports.
‘Since the prior guarantees failed, the focus of current events in Armenia is on creating new security pledges,’ he emphasized.
Pashinyan pledged to exert maximum effort to enhance these assurances and expand the number of border pillars.
As part of efforts to clarify coordinates, geodetic measurements as of May 6, 2024, led to the installation of 40 border pillars along the border between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
The collaborative efforts of expert groups from both countries are ongoing.
