Baku: At today’s session of the Milli Majlis, the draft Constitutional Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan ‘On Approval of Amendments to the Constitution of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic’ was presented for discussion. The draft law proposes the introduction of two new articles, Article 3-1 and Article 28-1, into the Nakhchivan Constitution, the removal of Article 5, and amendments to several existing articles and the preamble.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, following a series of discussions, the draft law was subjected to a vote and successfully adopted in the first reading. The proposed changes aim to update and refine the legal framework governing the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, signaling a significant step in the legislative process.
