BAKU: Azerbaijan and Armenia agreed to put additional efforts towards the conclusion of the Agreement on Peace and Establishment of Interstate Relations in the shortest possible period, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said, Trend reports.

“On 26 September 2024 under the initiative and with participation of the U.S. Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan met in New York, on the sidelines of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.

The parties agreed to put additional efforts towards the conclusion of the Agreement on Peace and Establishment of Interstate Relations in the shortest possible period.

The Azerbaijani and Armenian sides expressed their gratitude to the Secretary of State for organizing the meeting,” the statement said.
