In the last 24 hours, another 11,968 people received vaccine against coronavirus in Kyrgyzstan, the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said Tuesday.

Thus, 6,521 Kyrgyzstanis were vaccinated with the first dose, while 5,447 received the second shot.

A total of 913,218 Kyrgyzstanis have been vaccinated with the first dose of vaccine, while 692,696 people have received the second shot.

The country started a vaccination campaign on March 29, 2020.

Kyrgyzstan inoculates its citizens with Sinopharm, Sputnik V, Astra Zeneca and QazVac.

The country’s Health Minister Alymkadyr Beishenaliev told that Kyrgyzstan will receive the Pfizer vaccine at the end of October and the Moderna vaccine in December.
