A 3-magnitude earthquake was recorded in Jalal-Abad Oblast of Kyrgyzstan on Friday at 1:53 p.m.

The Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of Kyrgyzstan reported that tremors of the minor quake were feld in the villages of Kandzhyga, Kalmak-Kyrchyn of Suzak region of Jalal-Abad Oblast.

No casualties or destruction were reported as a result of the quake.
